Spring arrived and then went away this month. We are looking forward to the return of our “snowbirds” as our service projects pick up speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had a long-awaited dinner meeting and were most pleased to have a visit by our Zone Chairman, Gina Lessard, who provided good insight and strategies. It was a good evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lions Club members Pete Stople and John Menken joined the Cub Scout den of Moultonborough to collect money for the blind<\/strong> on Memorial Day Saturday. How can one resist those young, smiling faces. We took it almost $400. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We continue to do roadside clean-ups <\/strong>in Sandwich and our new Moultonborough location on Route 171 thanks to the committee chairmen, Mark and Sarah Cotrupi, and other stalwart Lions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And we have planted the annual flowers in our Adopt-a-Spot, Sutherland Park, <\/strong>and have begun recruiting members to take a week or more of watering and weeding duty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember Tuesday night Bingo<\/strong> — calling starts at 6:30 and the doors open at 5pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
