Even though many of our “snowbird” members won’t be arriving until May, April is when many of our activities begin.

Cleaning the Environment: Towards the end of the month we did a roadside clean-up of Route 25 from the Center Harbor Congregational Church to the Welcome to Meredith sign AND Route 171 from where it meets Route 109 to the entrance for Castle in the Clouds.

Reading in the Schools: Last month we delivered books to all the students at Moultonborough Central School. This month we delivered 86 books to the students at Sandwich Central School. We are waiting to get a specific date to bring books to Tuftonboro Central school.

Donations: We continue to help the Scout troops we sponsor with camperships and support organizations like food banks and organizations that help our youth. During this month alone, we donated almost $4,000 of assistance.

Bingo: The numbers have been steady in the month and we love seeing our regulars. Starting next month, the numbers will rise as will the winners’ amounts. Bingo is every Tuesday night except over Christmas and New Years and when the weather is bad at the Moultonborough Function Hall. You can purchase packets and supplies starting at 5 pm and the calling begins at 6 pm.
