Spring arrived and then went away this month. We are looking forward to the return of our “snowbirds” as our service projects pick up speed.
We had a long-awaited dinner meeting and were most pleased to have a visit by our Zone Chairman, Gina Lessard, who provided good insight and strategies. It was a good evening.
Lions Club members Pete Stople and John Menken joined the Cub Scout den of Moultonborough to collect money for the blind on Memorial Day Saturday. How can one resist those young, smiling faces. We took it almost $400.

We continue to do roadside clean-ups in Sandwich and our new Moultonborough location on Route 171 thanks to the committee chairmen, Mark and Sarah Cotrupi, and other stalwart Lions.
And we have planted the annual flowers in our Adopt-a-Spot, Sutherland Park, and have begun recruiting members to take a week or more of watering and weeding duty.
Remember Tuesday night Bingo — calling starts at 6:30 and the doors open at 5pm.
