May Speaker – Peter Whelley

At this past Monday’s dinner meeting, the Moultonborough School District’s School Psychologist, gave an interesting and thought-provoking talk on the history of Moultonborough Health and Suicide Prevention Coalition and provided some useful hand-outs on sources to contact and signs to look for.  While this is a serious topic, Peter managed to inject his own brand of positiveness and include several Lions while making his points.

Lions Club Beautification

Phase one of creating a new look inside the Lions Club got underway Friday afternoon (March 22).  Several members of the Women’s Club and four Lions took down curtains, hardware, and wall decorations in preparation for the wall cleaning, sanding and painting to begin this weekend.  Some initial cleaning was also attempted, but more needs to be done.  We will keep you posted on the progress.
